Free Maps for Europe
To say thank you and to promote the distribution of Open Street Maps we decided to provide calculated maps all over Europe on our server.
Apart from the tile server, a comfortable website for map search and some additional features are available.
Our Open Street Map Infrastructure
The map material for Europe is pre-calculated at magnification level 14, Switzerland and neighboring countries are provided at level 18 on servers with fast SSD drives and enough storage. The result is a very high performance in displaying the maps.
The update is done with green/blue technology, which means that one half of the servers calculates the new map material and the other half provides the maps.
As soon as the calculation run is completed, the systems are swapped. This means that the systems are always online, quick to display, and up-to-date.

We offer our MAPS website with some interesting features freely available to everyone. Important note: Tracking is not activated on these pages besides the statistical analysis of calls and no advertisement is integrated or displayed.
This site is a simple Show Case completely provided with Open Source technologies. It is entirely based on Javascript with Leaflet and some of our customized modules.
